holy crap, I met mini me today. I started driving a new group of kids for the horseback riding camp and this one girl shows up wearing the same exact shirt as me. For once I ended up hanging out at the barn and she complimented my hair and then started telling me how she'd just gotten a guitar and was gonna start a band and she wants a zebra print guitar strap cause her favorite band guy has one...and of course I knew who that had to be, and she says "David Desorieisreiouser" whatever his last name is and I told her I knew him and she flipped out. She's the same way about Simple Plan and David as I was about Good Charlotte and Benji. We talked about horses and Simple Plan and hair dying and guitar and how parents suck sometimes, and she's only maybe 12 but it was like looking at a mirror image of myself at 17. So I'm kinda excited, she doesn't know much "punk" music but like me she's on the verge, Simple Plan is her "gateway", I'm gonna make her a kid friendly punk mix. I really like the rest of my Friday group, plus since I was just hanging around I ended up helping the kids out alot and it was so much fun, I defintely know that's what I want to do for a living, have a stable and teach kids to ride...this of course after I've retired from rock stardom at the peak of my career before I end up on behind the music.
